Considering the Weather Before Traveling to Aruba

Aruba is located north of Venezuela, just 15 degrees from Equator. It is part of three island with Bonaire and Curacao being the other two. All three of them are part of the Dutch Antilles and directly come under the Kingdom of Netherlands. Though they have local autonomous government looking after the day to day activity. It’s a semi-desert kind of a place, with long uninterrupted stretches of white sand beaches and few small hills. In terms of Caribbean connection, they form the northern most tip of Caribbean area, making diving Aruba one amazing sport for all the tourists and locals.

In terms of climate, the hurricanes and tropical storm generated in Caribbean almost always bypass Aruba and travel to the north of it’s location. Though due to the disturbances some rain and gusty winds are felt when such events occur. But over all the path generally taken by high hurricanes pass north of Aruba and through central Caribbean. Some times one do gets high surfs and heavy winds but they never turn life threatening.

The rainfall in Aruba is concentrated mostly around the months of October through December. The average rain during that time is 3 to 4 inches a month. The rest of the year is generally dry with and average rain of around 1 inch.

Many Aruba reviews, agree with the fact that temperature wise Aruba is more or less same throughout the year, with day time temperatures in the 80′s and night time hovers around 70 degrees. From early autumn to mid spring there is a marginal drop in temperature but in terms of feeling it’s almost remains same.
Aruba, in all sense offers almost same weather throughout the year. With some marginal effects of the passing Hurricane’s. Except that it has warm climate with virtually uninterrupted sun shine through year. For most holiday makers it offers and ideal place to visit as it is open round the year. Just make sure before visiting to know if there is any possibility of hurricane’s happening during your stay in Aruba.
